Our Volunteers transform local people’s lives – and their own in the process.
Become a Citizens Advice Volunteer
Every week, we respond to 60 enquiries, tackle 250 problems and increase client incomes by more than £30,000. We couldn’t do that without our amazing volunteers.
If you can give 5 hours per week, we can give you all the training, skills and on-the-job support you need to be part of our advice team:
- on reception at our community drop-in sessions around the county, or
- responding to enquiries that have coming in by email, text, WhatsApp or Messenger, or
- taking client appointments on the phone or in-person at our drop-ins, or
- promoting our work at local events and community sessions, or
- a bit of everything!
Our governing body – the Trustee Board - is also made up of volunteers.
