About Us

We are Cyngor Ar Bopeth Ceredigion Citizens Advice, known locally as CAB Ceredigion. We are the only universal advice provider in Ceredigion and neighbouring communities. We have recently celebrated our 85th birthday!

What we do

We provide free and confidential information, support, advice and specialist casework services to thousands of people every year. We help them increase their incomes, reduce household costs, manage debts, warm homes, secure legal justice, navigate eligibility to vital services and access crisis support.

We also campaign, at local and national levels, to ensure that policy makers understand the problems people face and propose potential solutions.

• We are quality assured - accredited to the UK Advice Quality Standard, Wales Information and Advice Quality Framework and national Citizens Advice governance standards
• Our money and debt services our regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
• Our Advisers are Disclosure and Barring Service checked
• We belong to the national Citizens Advice network.
