In August 2016, Citizens Advice published the third report in their series exploring how pension freedoms are affecting consumers.
The pension freedoms introduced in April 2015 gave around 4 million consumers flexible access to private pension pots. Next year a further 5 million existing annuity holders are set to become eligible for similar freedoms.
In this report, Citizens Advice focuses on consumers’ reflections after using the new freedoms and their thoughts on future choices. This is the third report in a series exploring how pension freedoms are affecting consumers in the context of their broader lives.
